Just like in Facebook Messenger, Meta is going to provide a screen-sharing feature in WhatsApp too.
On Saturday, the company announced that the screen share feature will be made available through a new update while keeping a blog on WW Beta Info.
In the report, it is mentioned that the company is currently testing the screen-sharing feature on Android devices. In particular, the company said that the device’s screen can be shared on WhatsApp, just as the screen can be shared on the video conferencing platform Microsoft and Zoom.
In order to share the screen on WhatsApp, you must first update the WhatsApp version 2.23.11.19. After the update, you can call the person you want to share the screen with and tap on the screen share icon at the bottom to share the screen of the device.
When sharing the screen by enabling the feature, WhatsApp will send a disclaimer saying that all personal details such as passwords, messages, phone numbers, etc. will be visible on the display.
But to use this feature, both parties must have installed the new update of WhatsApp. As it is currently being tested in the beta version, the company said that this feature can be used by all Android, iOS, and web users in a few weeks.
